There are two ways to feature a post on the homepage – through the Homepage Slider or as a Featured Post. Additionally, you can promote a post in the Hot News section (appears on Header Template 1).
- Open or edit a post
- Find the Promote Post box in the right side of the screen.
- The first promotes the page on Homepage, either on the Homepage Slider or Featured Posts section. (Tip: Both can be enabled or disabled via Dashboard > OrangeApples > Homepage Settings )
- The second promotes the current post in the Hot News section (appears when Header Template 1 is used)
- Click Update to apply the changes
